Kevin O’Malley

Chief Executive Officer, North America

Kevin O’Malley, appointed to CEO CTM North America after the announcement of CTM’s acquisition of Travel and Transport in October 2020, brings CTM clients and staff a tenured track record in business travel. Kevin has over 25 years of travel industry experience, having worked in several key strategic and senior roles.

Kevin joined Travel and Transport in 1994 and through a long tenure held critical positions with increasing strategic leadership responsibilities, eventually being named CEO of Travel and Transport in 2015. His leadership style, industry acumen, and genuine interest in the success of clients and staff make him an integral member of the CTM executive team looking toward a bright future.

Kevin is committed to advancing the travel industry, acting as advisory board member among several key industry groups, and also cultivates his local community by serving on several boards for Nebraska-based educational institutions and charitable foundations.

As CEO North America, Kevin is responsible for ensuring the highest level of personal service, innovation, and return on investment to our customers, while leveraging CTM’s global strategy to benefit our regional clients and staff.

Timothy J. Fleming

President & Integration Lead, North America

Tim Fleming is an experienced travel industry executive holding an extensive tenure in corporate travel management.  Tim started in the industry in 1981.

Tim joined the organization in 1982 as a travel advisor. During his tenure, he has served in several senior management roles where he oversaw sales, marketing, operations, and account management. Tim was named Chief Operating Officer in 2014 and President in 2017. Today, Tim serves as President & Integration Lead for CTM North America and is a member of the CTM executive committee. Tim is responsible for driving the company’s sales and marketing strategy across North America and ensuring the vision of the company is understood, communicated, and embraced throughout the region. Tim is also responsible for overseeing the integration of CTM and Travel and Transport in North America.

Tim serves as Chairman of the Board for Radius Travel and is also part of the Advisory Board for Delta Airlines and the Board of Directors for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).

Maureen Brady

Chief Operating Officer, North America

Maureen Brady has proven success in business development, client solutions, and operational technology to deliver efficiencies, innovative supplier programs, and revenue growth.

Her tenured executive leadership is supported by previous executive roles in operations, global corporate acquisition integrations, and global business solutions stretching across three continents with multiple global travel management companies.

Maureen has an adept ability to strategically optimize operational efforts, as well as envision and implement agile infrastructures to lead the way for CTM’s lucrative business to thrive. Through her driven practices, she has contributed to the evolution of the corporate travel industry.

In her role as Chief Operations Officer and part of the executive committee at CTM North America, Maureen is responsible for driving CTM North America’s operational vision and strategy for CTM’s performance and growth.

Joel Bailey

Chief Technology Officer, North America

Joel Bailey is a travel industry leader with over 20 years of experience in product management, customer solutions, innovative technology solutions, and bringing new products and services to the market.

Joel joined the organization in 2014 after holding various leadership roles with global travel management and travel technology companies. Joel has a passion for developing innovative solutions that meet customer needs to solve their problems.

As CTO and part of the Executive Committee at CTM North America, Joel is responsible for driving CTM’s innovation strategy, as well as deploying market-leading travel technology that drives customer value and enhances the traveler experience.

Jeff Cain

Chief Specialty Officer, North America

Jeff Cain is an experienced executive with a diverse travel industry background as a sales and operations executive. His unique vision for process and revenue improvement allows him to provide a strong return on investment for customers and CTM.

Jeff joined the organization in 2016 as a Senior Vice President to lead specialty divisions. Throughout his 30-year career, Jeff has held successful leadership roles in various travel industry verticals, including airline, GDS, TMC, online booking applications, duty of care, and travel insurance. In conjunction with his extensive tenure, his leadership style of collaboration and accountability for individual and team growth correlates with customer success and profitable company growth.

As part of CTM’s executive committee, Jeff is responsible for ensuring that the company’s meetings & events, loyalty, and leisure divisions continue to move in the direction of profitability with high levels of personal service and creatively driving the market.

Mike King

Chief Legal Officer, North America

Mike King has an established legal counsel tenure with a specialty in mergers and acquisitions and general corporate legal work. Mike brings a meticulous and practical mindset to finding solutions for CTM’s business and customers.

Mike joined the organization in 2006 as an in-house lawyer and was later named general counsel. Before joining the travel industry, he was a partner in an Omaha, Nebraska based law firm.

As Chief Legal Officer and part of the executive committee at CTM North America, Mike is responsible for managing legal risk for the global organization, primarily focused on North America.

Josh Weiss

Chief Financial Officer, North America

Josh Weiss is an experienced finance professional with two decades of industry experience. Before joining the organization in 2014, Josh held various leadership and partner roles at financial institutions in Omaha, NE.

Josh is passionate about philanthropy and sits on the boards of the American Heart and Stroke Association and At Ease USA.

As CFO and as part of the executive committee at CTM North America, Josh is responsible for business strategy and development.

Jim Winterscheid

Chief People Officer, North America

Jim Winterscheid is a highly tenured travel industry executive with 20 years of experience holding several key strategic and leadership roles in finance and human resources.

Jim joined the organization in 2000, and in that time has held critical positions with strategic leadership responsibilities. Jim promotes a positive outlook and avidly shares the benefits of being a CTM employee.

Jim is committed and passionate about community outreach, serving on multiple boards for Nebraska-based charitable foundations.

In his role as CPO and as part of the executive committee at CTM North America, Jim is responsible for ensuring the successful lifecycle of CTM’s employee group from hiring/onboarding to providing educational and growth opportunities throughout an employee’s tenure at CTM.

Mary Ellen Hess

Executive Vice President, Business Development, North America

Mary Ellen (George) Hess is an experienced sales and marketing executive with a passion for technology and customer experience. In her role as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, she will spearhead client acquisitions and brand management for CTM North America.

Mary Ellen joins CTM as a highly regarded travel industry professional with more than three decades of proven success in leading high-performance teams, product development, digital transformation and superior results in bringing new solutions to the travel industry.

Mary Ellen’s accolades include recognition from WINiT by Global Business Travel Association’s Top 40 Women in Travel, as well as Skift’s Corporate Travel Innovators list. She also serves on the board of WINiT.

Prior to joining CTM, Mary Ellen held executive leadership roles within the travel industry at a highly advanced TMC platform technology company and three global TMC’s.

As part of the CTM’s senior leadership team, Mary Ellen will leverage her extensive travel industry knowledge integrating sales and marketing teams while achieving CTM’s North America growth goals.

Nancy Rissky

Senior Vice President, Account Management

Nancy Rissky is a highly regarded industry veteran with experience leading teams that build open and transparent client relationships.

Nancy has extensive tenure in the travel industry. She spent 23 years with a regional TMC before joining the organization in 2007 as SVP – Account Management.

In her role as SVP, Account Management, Nancy is responsible for ensuring smooth client integration and satisfaction.

Karen McGilvray

Senior Vice President & General Manager, Pacific Region

Karen’s extensive background in travel account management, paired with exceptional communication skills, technical aptitude, and tenacious spirit, allow her to lead successful operating teams and drive client goals.

Karen has led our Pacific Region operations since 2017.

Prior to joining Corporate Travel Management North America Inc., Karen led our Account Management offering in Queensland, Australia, for nearly 12 years. Her previous appointments include operational and management positions with large global travel brands as well as local travel providers. This experience feeds Karen’s ability to thrive in challenging environments, solve difficult challenges, and relate well to colleagues, peers, and clients at all levels of an organization.

As part of CTM’s senior leadership team, Karen is responsible for sales, operations and account management for the Pacific Region, including P&L, staffing, and ultimate client retention responsibility. Karen leverages her enthusiasm, knowledge and professionalism to deliver client and staff satisfaction driven by CTM’s core competencies of personal service, innovation, and measurable return on travel investment.

Carol Hall

Senior Vice President & General Manager, Mountain Region

Carol is a driven customer experience executive and decisive leader with an extensive history of building, developing, and leading customer-focused teams.

Carol’s thirty years of business travel industry experience drives her success in managing client relationships, while implementing processes that foster team work, streamline operations, and improve customer satisfaction. She is a disciplined leader who excels in operations management, strategic planning, goal setting, interacting with customers and problem solving.  Carol’s outstanding interpersonal skills enable her to cultivate strong business relationships and to mentor and develop team members.

As part of CTM’s senior leadership team, Carol is responsible for sales, operations and account management for the Mountain Region of CTM North America, including P&L, staffing, and ultimate client retention responsibility.  She leads a strong team to deliver CTM service and technology solutions to each customer in a fast-paced, high-growth and diverse environment.

Penny Watermeier

Senior Vice President & General Manager, Central Region

Penny is a data-driven leader with proven success in multiple facets of the travel industry, a comprehensive understanding of change management, and a collaborative approach to offer differentiation in solutions.

She began her career in the travel industry in 1986 as a corporate travel counselor, quickly moving into leadership roles. Penny joined the organization in 1997, managing teams responsible for maintaining key client relationships. At the end of 2020, Penny was appointed to Senior Vice President / General Manager – Central region.

Penny has been an allied member of the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) for several years. In conjunction with GBTA and the Wharton School of Business, Penny received her Global Leadership Professional® (GLP) Designation in 2010.

As part of CTM’s general manager team, Penny is responsible for sales, operations, and account management for the Central region.

Jami Hedrick

Senior Vice President & General Manager, Plains Region (NE, IA, MO, KS)

Jami is a dedicated and problem-solving executive with a laser-focus on client management and leading high-efficiency teams. She thrives on providing solutions to client challenges while delivering the highest calibre of service.

Through her 26 years of travel industry experience, she has gained extensive knowledge in diverse sectors of the industry, including operations, emergency services, and account management. Jami excels in setting strategy, operational management, goal setting, and interacting with customers.

As part of CTM’s general manager team, Jami is responsible for the execution and success of the sales, operations, and account management teams in the Plains region, which includes Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, and Kansas.

April Wheeler

Senior Vice President & General Manager, Southern Region

April is a driven customer experience executive and decisive leader with an extensive history of building, developing, and leading customer-focused teams.

Her accomplished tenure in the travel industry is paired with proven success in fostering efficiency and focusing on customer satisfaction. As a disciplined leader, she excels in operations management, strategic planning, goal setting, interacting with customers, and problem-solving.

As part of CTM’s General Manager team, April is responsible for sales, operations, and account management for the Southern Region, including P&L, staffing, and ultimate client retention responsibility.

 

Anita Salvatore

Senior Vice President & General Manager, Northeast / Canada Region

Anita’s passion is a driving force and is instrumental in shaping, strengthening and contributing to CTM’s overall global presence and successful financial performance. Anita brings our clients a hyper focus on solution-driven travel program satisfaction.

Anita has overseen CTM’s strategic account management efforts since 2016.

During her career with Travizon, now a part of the CTM family, Anita lent her leadership skills to the industry as a founding member of Women in Travel (WINit), a member of Travel & Leisure Business Travel Advisory Board, and an active and innovative member of major industry organizations.

As CTM’s Senior Vice President, Global Account Management, Anita leverages more than 30 years of industry experience to drive the global and national strategy we develop in collaboration with our clients. Applying open communication and active listening, Anita acts as mentor, coach, and collaborator to our local, national, and global Account Managers to ensure consistent internal and external satisfaction.

Anita is credited with developing our global consulting team. Under her leadership, the team has won and retained a roster of multinational renowned clients, by creating uniquely collaborative partnerships with mutually beneficial results.

Barbara Yarar

Senior Vice President & General Manager, NY / NJ Region

Barbara is a disciplined leader who excels in operations management, strategic planning, and goal setting to successfully interact with customers and assist them with solving their travel program challenges.

With 38 years of business travel industry experience, driven in managing client relationships by implementing processes that foster teamwork, streamline operations, and improve customer satisfaction.

Barbara leverages her enthusiasm, knowledge, and professionalism to deliver client and staff satisfaction, driven by CTM’s core competencies of personal service, innovation, and measurable return on travel investment.

As part of CTM’s general manager team, Barbara is responsible for sales, operations, and account management for the New York/New Jersey region, including P&L, staffing, and client retention responsibility.

Cameron Kay

Senior Vice President, Loyalty

Cameron’s expansive client management and operations skills, buoyed by his passion for performance excellence, steers team success in the achievement of CTM Loyalty client expectations and goals.

Cameron is a tenacious leader, accomplished at building teams and relationships to meet client expectations and achieve business transformation. He is an expert in designing customized Loyalty Reward programs for each client group that deliver on sales, revenue, cost and customer retention targets.

Prior to joining CTM North America Inc., Cameron led client management and operations functions for CTM in Sydney, Australia for almost 10 years. He has also managed sales and program management functions with global travel brands, including Sabre Pacific and Carlson Wagonlit Travel. He thrives on the challenges of data analytics, strategic problem solving and driving operational execution.

As part of CTM’s senior leadership team, Cameron is responsible for managing the relationship and strategic business direction of a portfolio of national travel agency group clients, guiding the success of their Loyalty and Rewards programs.

Christy Shafer

Senior Vice President & General Manager, MTravel and Allure

Christy’s proven analytical, consultative and customer-focused sales and account management experience with excellent written, oral communication, and presentation skills drive her leadership of successful operating teams and achievement of company goals.

Christy is a dynamic, results-driven travel industry professional with 17+ years of experience in customer relationships, problem- solving, and business development. She uses visionary, strategic, and conceptual thinking to generate new ideas and initiate change. She joined CTM in 2017 and is currently leading MTravel and Allure.

Prior to joining CTM, she successfully managed corporate accounts and account management teams for key industry players.

Christy’s strong communications and teambuilding skills allow her to coordinate cross-functional groups to accomplish objectives and effectively deliver CTM service and technology solutions to each customer in a fast-paced, high-growth, and diverse environment.

Tami Reier

Senior Vice President & General Manager, ETM North America

Tami Reier was appointed to Senior Vice President & General Manager, ETM North America, in July 2021. She brings 30+ years of industry experience to ETM clients and employees and is dedicated to exceptional service, leadership, strategic vision, and growth-oriented results.

Tami joined the organization in 1999 as an accomplished meetings and events professional. Tami holds a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation from Meeting Professionals International, a Certificate in Meetings Management (CMM) from Events Industry Council, and a Virtual Event and Meeting Management (VEMM) certificate from Events Leadership Institute.

Tami is a member of Cvent’s Partner Advisory Board and Meeting Professionals International’s Global Committee on Anti-Human Trafficking.

As part of CTM’s general manager team, Tami is responsible for bringing together all aspects of the meetings, events, and group air teams to deliver outstanding, customer-centric programs with an exceptional return on investment.

Evan Friedman

Executive Vice President, Strategic Sales

Evan Friedman is a consummate sales professional with more than 30 years of industry experience. His focus is on large-market business development in Financial, Professional Services, and High Fashion global opportunities. He strives to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.

Based in New York City, he is an integral part of the CTM’s global sales team.

He has earned the distinguished designation of Certified Hospitality Marketing Executive (CHME) by the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International. Evan also sits on the Board of the Ritz Carlton Hotels and New York City Metropolitan Executive Alliance (New York City’s #1 Professional Business Networking Group), where he chairs the Speaker Committee.

Debbie Langen

Senior Vice President, Business Development, North America

Debbie Langen brings more than 20 years of experience in growing the CTM business. Focusing on large markets and global business development, she is passionate about building strong professional relationships and solving unique client problems.

Based in Florida, she is an integral part of the CTM’s global sales team.

As part of the CTM North America national leadership team, Debbie is responsible for supporting the North American sales team via training, mentoring, coaching, and strategy development.

Christy Prescott

Chief Executive Officer, Corporate Travel Planners (CTP)

Christy Prescott is a trailblazing entrepreneur with over 29 years of extraordinary success. Her tenured travel industry career is marked with innovation and leadership as she founded, guided, and earned a reputation as a visionary in the travel industry. As Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Corporate Travel Planners (CTP), Christy built and expanded CTP into one of the largest privately-owned travel agencies before Corporate Travel Management (CTM) acquired the company in December 2019.

 

As Chief Executive Officer of CTP, she is part of CTM’s senior leadership team. Christy is responsible for managing CTM’s university clients’ relationships and strategic business direction.

 

Christy is passionate about philanthropy and founded her charity, Christy’s Hope for Battered Women and Children, over two decades ago.

Jamie Pherous

Executive Director, Managing Director

Director since May 2008

Jamie Pherous founded Corporate Travel Management Limited (CTM) in Brisbane in 1994. He has built the Group from its headquarters in Brisbane to become one of the world’s largest travel management companies.

Prior to establishing CTM, Jamie Pherous was employed by Arthur Andersen, now Ernst & Young, as a qualified Chartered Accountant, specialising in business services and financial consulting, notably in Australia, Papua New Guinea and the United Arab Emirates.

 

Laura Ruffles

Executive Director, Global COO

Director since December 2015

Laura Ruffles is CTM’s Global Chief Operating Officer and, in late 2015, was appointed an Executive Director in recognition of her leadership contribution. She has significant local, regional and global industry experience and, in a career of more than 20 years, has led teams across sales, account management, operations and technology. Laura Ruffles is responsible for all aspects of CTM’s business performance. She joined CTM in 2010 and has been a key contributor to its successful growth. She is also a Director of the Australian Federation of Travel Agents.

Cale Bennett

Global Chief Financial Officer

Cale Bennett joined CTM in August 2019, before becoming Global CFO in March 2021. Prior to joining CTM, Cale held senior finance roles in ASX-listed entities in the banking, entertainment, and transportation industries. Cale’s corporate background includes five years spent as Group Treasurer of an ASX-100 company, driving a commercial approach that resulted in significant financial outcomes. A strong interest in technology has also led Cale to both co-found and advise start-ups in the fintech industry.

Cale holds a Bachelor of International Finance, Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment, and Master of Business Administration qualification. Cale is a Fellow of CPA Australia.

Anne Tucker

Global Chief Legal Officer & Company Secretary

Anne Tucker joined CTM in September 2019 as Global Chief Legal Officer & Company Secretary. Anne is an experienced corporate lawyer and company secretary with extensive experience in corporate governance, regulatory engagement and merger and acquisition activity.

Anne has most recently been a consultant providing legal and related advisory services to clients in the gambling and entertainment sector. Anne has also held various legal and compliance roles over a 12 year period with Tatts Group Limited, including the position of General Counsel & Company Secretary, and prior to this worked as a lawyer in both private practice and government roles.

Anne holds both Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws (Hons) qualifications, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance. Anne is a member of the Governance Institute of Australia.

Andrea Joseph

Chief People Works Officer

Andrea is an experienced professional with a proven track record in developing successful solutions and delivering outcomes across all aspects of Human Resources.
A highly skilled leader and project manager, Andrea designed and delivered a Leadership Cultural Change initiative at Suncorp before joining CTM in 2012 to lead CTM’s people functions. As Chief People Works Officer, Andrea is responsible for attracting, developing, and retaining talent who deliver great customer service, and valuable innovative solutions for our clients. Andrea’s role also ensures global accountability in delivering CTM’s shared vision of on-demand flexible learning and high performance coaching to ensure continuous personnel development; such as CTM’s High Performance (HiPo) program. In addition to a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in HR and IR, Andrea is also an Accredited Level 2 Executive Coach. Andrea is also responsible, in AU/NZ, for HR, ICT, Health and Safety, and Facilities.

Paul Healy

Global Head of Information Systems and Security

Paul Healy joined CTM in 2008, firstly as the ANZ IT Manager, later moving to lead Group IT operations, before taking on a Global management role in May 2016. Over this period he has been responsible for ensuring CTM’s global computing, communications and security infrastructure has maintained pace with the company’s rapid growth. Paul is also responsible for coordinating CTM’s global cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, privacy and compliance programs, as well as managing CTM’s Business Intelligence and analytics platforms.
Paul is a highly experienced IT professional with over 15 years of IT management experience across various industries. He has led teams across various IT disciplines including infrastructure management, software development, ERP and support services.
Paul holds a Masters’ degree in Information Technology majoring in Enterprise Systems from QUT, and is certified in both Project Management and Business Analysis. He is an Associate Member of the Australian Computing Society.

Scott Ward

Global Head of Partnerships

Scott joined CTM’s Queensland office as the Head of Client Management in 2011 and quickly established himself as someone dedicated to delivering results that were both positive and provided a real impact.
This saw him join the General Manager Succession Plan after his first year with the business and move in to the GM role for Victoria in mid-2013.
In 2017 Scott moved into the role of Global Head of Partnerships. With a focus on technology-based innovation, this position is responsible for aligning efficiencies and optimising partnerships across CTM’s global business.
Before joining CTM, Scott held various roles in the travel industry including the Australian National Sales Manager for one of the largest travel technology companies globally. He has brought this technical knowledge of best-in-market processes to enhance the alignment of solutions offered to CTM’s clients.
With over 15 years’ worth of experience in the travel industry, Scott has an excellent overall understanding of the intricacies of travel and travel management and the most effective ways of applying these to achieve optimal outcomes.

Annabel Ausmus

Global Chief Marketing Officer

Annabel Ausmus is an experienced marketing and communications professional with more than 15 years’ experience managing digital and traditional marketing strategy and implementation in both B2B and B2C disciplines.

Annabel brings a wealth of travel industry marketing experience to CTM, having worked across corporate, leisure (luxury to budget brands), events, wholesale and loyalty travel for privately owned, listed entities and not for profit organizations.

During her time at Corporate Travel Management, Annabel has worked across global growth strategy and entry into the ASX, including a highly successful IPO and the acquisition and rebranding of a number of international companies.

Annabel holds a BA (Hons) degree in Journalism, is a Certified Practicing Marketer (CPM), an Associate Member of the Australian Marketing Institute (AMI), and sits on the AMI Industry Advisory Group.

Michael Kubasik

Global Chief Technology Officer

Mike Kubasik was appointed to Global Chief Technology Officer following the announcement of CTM’s acquisition of Travel and Transport in late 2020.

Mike has more than 25 years of industry experience and 20 years of executive technology leadership. Having joined Travel and Transport in 1993, Mike has held critical positions with increasing strategic leadership responsibilities, eventually being named Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer and Director of Travel and Transport in 2012. His collaborative leadership style, extensive industry insight, customer-centricity and commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovation enables CTM to maintain its reputation as a global leader in travel technology solutions.

Mike holds a number of travel and technology advisory board positions, helping drive solutions, advancements and technology strategies for the industry. Additionally, Mike works with many technology start-ups, and is involved in a number of philanthropic and charity causes in his personal time.

Tracey Edwards

Event Travel Management - Global Strategic Lead and GM AU/NZ

Tracey has been with ETM since its inception in early 2011 and brings more than 30 years’ experience in the travel and event industry managing operations around the world, including three years living, establishing and growing an event business in China.
Over the past 8 years the ETM team, under Tracey’s leadership, has evolved from a localized specialist Sydney office to a global offering with more than 100 staff across the world, providing a range of expert event, meeting and group travel services. Tracey ensures the team are delivering event solutions that meet our clients’ diverse needs and are at the forefront of technological efficiency. These achievements have been recognized by the industry, including winning the AFTA award for ‘Best Business Events Travel Agency’ multiple times.

Ewen Crouch AM

Chairman

Independent Non-Executive Director

Director since March 2019

Ewen Crouch was a Partner at Allens from 1988 – 2013. He served as a member of the firm’s board for 11 years, including four years as Chairman of Partners.  His other roles at Allens included Co-Head Mergers & Acquisitions and Equity Capital Markets from 2004 – 2010, Executive Partner – Asian Offices from 1999 – 2004 and Deputy Managing Partner from 1993 – 1996. He was a director of Mission Australia from 1995, including as Chairman from 2009, until retiring in November 2016.

Mr Crouch is a non-executive director of BlueScope Steel Limited (since March 2013).  He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a member of its Law Committee and a director of Jawun. He served as a member of the Takeovers Panel from 2010-2015, as a member of the Commonwealth Remuneration Tribunal from 2015 – 2019, as a director of Sydney Symphony Orchestra from 2009 – 2020 and as a non-executive director of Westpac Banking Corporation from 2013 to 2019.

Sophie Mitchell

Independent Non-Executive Director

Director since September 2019

Sophie Mitchell has over 30 years of corporate advisory, capital markets and equity research experience. She retired from Morgans in June 2019 after over a decade as an Executive Director in Morgans Corporate and, prior to this, she was Morgans Head of Research.

Sophie now concentrates on her Board roles and is a Non-Executive Director of ASX-listed Flagship Investments Limited and Chairman of Apollo Tourism & Leisure Limited. She is also a Non-Executive Director of Morgans Holdings (Australia) Limited and the Morgans Foundation Limited, a Board member for the Australia Council for the Arts and Chairman of Australian Super’s Queensland Advisory Council.

She was a Non-Executive Director of Silver Chef Limited (September 2011 – December 2019) and a member of the Australian Government Takeovers Panel between 2009 and 2018.

 

Jon Brett

Independent Non-Executive Director

Director since January 2020

Jon Brett  was formerly an executive director of Investec Wentworth Private Equity Limited, and an executive of Investec Bank (Australia) Limited. He was also the CEO of Techway Limited which pioneered internet banking in Australia.  Jon brings extensive strategic, board and management experience to CTM, particularly in the areas of finance and corporate advisory.

Jon is  currently Executive Chairman of Stridecorp Equity Partners, an AFSL licensed fund manager specialising in private equity, and a non-executive director of Mobilicom Limited. His former directorships include Godfreys Group Limited, The Pas Group Limited and the chairman of Indoor Skydive Australia Group Limited.  Jon was also one of the first non-executive directors at Vocus Group, where he served for over a decade.

Jamie Pherous

Jamie Pherous founded Corporate Travel Management Limited (CTM) in Brisbane in 1994. He has built the Group from its headquarters in Brisbane to become one of the world’s largest travel management companies.

Prior to establishing CTM, Jamie Pherous was employed by Arthur Andersen, now Ernst & Young, as a qualified Chartered Accountant, specialising in business services and financial consulting, notably in Australia, Papua New Guinea and the United Arab Emirates.

 

Laura Ruffles

Executive Director, Global COO

Director since December 2015

Laura Ruffles is CTM’s Global Chief Operating Officer and, in late 2015, was appointed an Executive Director in recognition of her leadership contribution. She has significant local, regional and global industry experience and, in a career of more than 20 years, has led teams across sales, account management, operations and technology. Laura Ruffles is responsible for all aspects of CTM’s business performance. She joined CTM in 2010 and has been a key contributor to its successful growth. She is also a Director of the Australian Federation of Travel Agents.
