Maureen Brady

Chief Executive Officer / Chief Operating Officer, North America

Maureen Brady, CEO / COO, drives CTM North America’s operational vision and strategy to impact the company’s performance and growth. Her ability to strategically optimize operational efforts, envision and implement agile infrastructures is leading the way for CTM’s lucrative business to thrive.

Maureen started in the industry, initially in Leisure, then the Meetings & Events side, working for Thomson Holidays and Maritz, respectively. On the corporate side, Maureen’s previous leadership roles include leading Operations for Rosenbluth and BTI Americas/BCD Travel on the West Coast. Following that, Maureen oversaw corporate acquisition integrations and global business solutions in Mexico, the Netherlands, Belgium and Singapore for BCD Travel. Most recently, Maureen held senior executive roles at WorldTravel Inc. and Ovation Travel Group which entailed oversight of business development, client solutions and operational technology that delivered efficiencies, innovative supplier programs, and revenue growth. These practices contributed to the evolution shaping the corporate travel industry. Her teams, clients, and partners have embraced and admire her leadership, enthusiasm, and passion for our industry.

Anne Rudd

Chief Financial Officer

With experience across multiple business lines and exemplary communication skills, Anne is a perfect match to lead our finance team across all CTM lines of business serving North America.

Anne came to CTM in 2017 with more than 15 years of experience across 6 countries.

Anne demonstrates impeccable commercial acumen accumulated from her experience supporting dynamic financial travel operations in the US, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines for major travel brands. Anne was selected to lead diverse leadership roles worldwide and brings our staff and customers an absolute commitment to efficient organizational and personal performance.

As CFO, Anne is responsible for overseeing all areas of finance in North America in achieving long-term growth and sustainable profits. She brings immense experience and insight to her role at CTM in guiding the financial health and well-being, risk and legal management and financial reporting of the entire USA operation.

Lehi Mills

Chief Technology Officer

By monitoring rapidly changing market technologies, Lehi’s ability to manage all aspects of global information technology support CTM’s infrastructure and operational efficiency that provides strategic solutions to our business.

Lehi has overseen CTM’s operational technology and infrastructure since 2016.

With over 20 years of industry experience, Lehi is credited with a long list of proprietary technology initiatives, leadership roles, and industry contributions. Prior to overseeing CTM’s ICT operations, Mills worked as the Research & Development Director for Himark Software. Additionally, in 2005 Mills was published in Aspatore Books’ Inside the Minds: The Role of a CTO/CIO with a chapter on Technology Management Strategies.

Today, Lehi is responsible for delivering state-of-the-art corporate travel technologies that fuel growth, automate key processes, and reduce program expenses. Lehi has been a key contributor in developing CTM’s proprietary global reporting platform. Lehi’s focus on usability, data privacy, cloud computing, and technology standards give an edge to CTM systems and clients, as well as the staff and technologies providing efficient and effective service for the CTM business.

Michael Fruhbeis

Chief Information Officer

An experienced CIO, with a demonstrated history of working in the Travel & Health Care industries, Michael provides focused leadership and direction to optimize the performance of leading-edge information technology processes and systems to deliver CTM client services.

Michael has more than 25 years of experience in executive management, IT business management, project management, data security, product and production management related to corporate IT. He is an effective team leader with a successful track record in managing multiple projects, assuming full responsibility for project management, team building, budgeting, vendor negotiations, and personnel management. His servant leadership style propels teams to develop and implement initiatives that drive stability and improvements to speed, cost, quality, and improvement to the client experience.

Prior to joining CTM, Michael served as the CIO and Information Technology Director for organizations, such as the Northeast Rehabilitation Hospital Network and Travizon. Prior to that, Michael held IT management roles with Answerthink, Think New Ideas, and BBG New Media. As part of CTM’s senior leadership team, Michael is responsible for CTM’s internal IT operations, aligning our IT infrastructure with business priorities and streamlining business processes with technology to optimize client service delivery and satisfaction.

Cel Jennings

Senior Vice President, National Operations

Cel’s extensive technical and communications skills, combined with thirty years of travel operations and account management experience, propels process and team performance for the achievement of CTM and client goals.

Cel is an action-oriented, ethical leader and accomplished executive, expert at analyzing team strengths and leveraging individual assets and technical resources to improve performance. She leads by example and utilizes her operational aptitude and sense of urgency, to effectively and efficiently optimize client support and staff engagement.

Prior to her leadership role in operations, Cel managed dedicated agent and team operations work groups. She is recognized as a leader who applies an ethical approach to all facets of the business, resulting in improved performance and increased customer satisfaction.

As part of CTM’s senior leadership team, Cel is responsible for the management of high-performing operations processes, integrations, 3rd party tools, and resources of Corporate Travel Management North America Inc. that result in the stellar delivery of products and services, while maximizing customer satisfaction.

Most recent to joining CTM, Timmo was part of the team at Qantas building the Qantas Distribution Platform and operationalisation of the new Qantas Channel. In addition to his unique understanding of airlines and hotel distribution, as well as understanding the importance and practicality of corporate travel needs, Timmo is excited to be part of and inspire the best team of passionate people in the industry, to continue to deliver innovation at a global stage, here at CTM.

Debbie Langen

Senior Vice President, Sales

With a focus on large market and global business development, Debbie is passionate about building strong professional relationships and solving unique client problems. There is no customer too large, too small, or with a problem Debbie cannot solve.

Debbie has been an integral part of CTM since the first North American acquisition, and has worked closely with our national and global sales teams since 2012.

With industry experience of over 20 years and prior leadership and strategic roles with major global travel brands, as well as airlines and regional travel providers, Debbie brings CTM unique insight to support large market strategy and local relationships that allow us to drive impeccable service delivery.

Debbie is responsible for supporting the North American sales team via training, mentoring, coaching and strategy development. She supports CTM’s General Managers across the nation in growing their regions and providing them with the tools necessary to ensure measurable success at every step of the client life cycle. In addition, she is an individual contributor to the global sales team in directly securing large multinational clients for CTM.

Anita Salvatore

Senior Vice President, Account Management

Anita’s passion is a driving force and is instrumental in shaping, strengthening and contributing to CTM’s overall global presence and successful financial performance. Anita brings our clients a hyper focus on solution-driven travel program satisfaction.

Anita has overseen CTM’s strategic account management efforts since 2016.

During her career with Travizon, now a part of the CTM family, Anita lent her leadership skills to the industry as a founding member of Women in Travel (WINit), a member of Travel & Leisure Business Travel Advisory Board, and an active and innovative member of major industry organizations.

As CTM’s Senior Vice President, Global Account Management, Anita leverages more than 30 years of industry experience to drive the global and national strategy we develop in collaboration with our clients. Applying open communication and active listening, Anita acts as mentor, coach, and collaborator to our local, national, and global Account Managers to ensure consistent internal and external satisfaction.

Anita is credited with developing our global consulting team. Under her leadership, the team has won and retained a roster of multinational renowned clients, by creating uniquely collaborative partnerships with mutually beneficial results.

Tiago Veloso

Senior Vice President Supplier Relations & Strategy

Tiago’s strategic thinking, planning, and communications skills are pivotal to the successful management and delivery of CTM’s supplier relationships.

Tiago is an assertive executive and tactical planner. He leverages his product development skills, with his extensive knowledge of North American travel markets, to develop mutually beneficial partnerships that drive performance and growth.

Prior to joining CTM, Tiago managed procurement and systems development initiatives in North and South America for travel industry players, including Flight Centre Travel Group, Club ABC Tours, and King Holidays. He is experienced and skilled in the formulation of comprehensive procurement strategies.

As a part of CTM’s senior leadership team, Tiago is responsible for driving and optimizing CTM’s supplier strategy, partnerships and revenues in North America, as well as developing strategies designed to exceed supplier partner expectations, deliver exceptional value to clients, and achieve CTM revenue goals.

Cameron Kay

Senior Vice President, Loyalty

Cameron’s expansive client management and operations skills, buoyed by his passion for performance excellence, steers team success in the achievement of CTM Loyalty client expectations and goals.

Cameron is a tenacious leader, accomplished at building teams and relationships to meet client expectations and achieve business transformation. He is an expert in designing customized Loyalty Reward programs for each client group that deliver on sales, revenue, cost and customer retention targets.

Prior to joining CTM North America Inc., Cameron led client management and operations functions for CTM in Sydney, Australia for almost 10 years. He has also managed sales and program management functions with global travel brands, including Sabre Pacific and Carlson Wagonlit Travel. He thrives on the challenges of data analytics, strategic problem solving and driving operational execution.

As part of CTM’s senior leadership team, Cameron is responsible for managing the relationship and strategic business direction of a portfolio of national travel agency group clients, guiding the success of their Loyalty and Rewards programs.

Karen McGilvray

Senior Vice President & General Manager, Pacific

Karen’s extensive background in travel account management, paired with exceptional communication skills, technical aptitude, and tenacious spirit, allow her to lead successful operating teams and drive client goals.

Karen has led our Pacific Region operations since 2017.

Prior to joining Corporate Travel Management North America Inc., Karen led our Account Management offering in Queensland, Australia, for nearly 12 years. Her previous appointments include operational and management positions with large global travel brands as well as local travel providers. This experience feeds Karen’s ability to thrive in challenging environments, solve difficult challenges, and relate well to colleagues, peers, and clients at all levels of an organization.

As part of CTM’s senior leadership team, Karen is responsible for sales, operations and account management for the Pacific Region, including P&L, staffing, and ultimate client retention responsibility. Karen leverages her enthusiasm, knowledge and professionalism to deliver client and staff satisfaction driven by CTM’s core competencies of personal service, innovation, and measurable return on travel investment.

Carol Hall

Senior Vice President & General Manager, Mountain

Carol is a driven customer experience executive and decisive leader with an extensive history of building, developing, and leading customer-focused teams.

Carol’s thirty years of business travel industry experience drives her success in managing client relationships, while implementing processes that foster team work, streamline operations, and improve customer satisfaction. She is a disciplined leader who excels in operations management, strategic planning, goal setting, interacting with customers and problem solving.  Carol’s outstanding interpersonal skills enable her to cultivate strong business relationships and to mentor and develop team members.

As part of CTM’s senior leadership team, Carol is responsible for sales, operations and account management for the Mountain Region of CTM North America, including P&L, staffing, and ultimate client retention responsibility.  She leads a strong team to deliver CTM service and technology solutions to each customer in a fast-paced, high-growth and diverse environment.

Christy Shafer

Senior Vice President & General Manager, Central

Christy’s proven analytical, consultative and customer-focused sales and account management experience with excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills drive her leadership of successful operating teams and achievement of client goals.

Christy is a dynamic, results-driven travel industry professional with 16 years of experience in customer relationships, problem solving, and business development. She uses visionary, strategic and conceptual thinking to generate new ideas and initiate change. She joined CTM in 2017 and is currently leading the Central Region.
Prior to joining CTM, she successfully managed corporate accounts and account management teams for industry players, including BCD Travel, and TSI USA,

As part of CTM’s senior leadership team, Christy is responsible for sales, operations and account management for the Central Region of Corporate Travel Management, including P&L, staffing, and ultimate client retention responsibility.  Christy’s strong communications and teambuilding skills allow her to coordinate cross-functional groups to accomplish objectives and effectively deliver CTM service and technology solutions to each customer in a fast-paced, high-growth and diverse environment.

Neale O’Connell

Global Chief Financial Officer

Neale O’Connell joined CTM as Global CFO in July 2019, bringing a wealth of experience in listed company financial management built over a 25-year career. Neale spent 14 years at Tatts Group before departing in 2018 as Group CFO following the merger with Tabcorp. Neale has deep public company experience; he managed the major financial elements for the floats of Smorgon Steel and Tattersall’s and managed multinational projects as Finance Director for contracting and logistics supplier Delta Group. Neale is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a member of the Finance and Treasury Association.

Tracey Edwards

Event Travel Management - Global Strategic Lead and GM AU/NZ

Tracey has been with ETM since its inception in early 2011 and brings more than 30 years’ experience in the travel and event industry managing operations around the world, including three years living, establishing and growing an event business in China.
Over the past 8 years the ETM team, under Tracey’s leadership, has evolved from a localized specialist Sydney office to a global offering with more than 100 staff across the world, providing a range of expert event, meeting and group travel services. Tracey ensures the team are delivering event solutions that meet our clients’ diverse needs and are at the forefront of technological efficiency. These achievements have been recognised by the industry, including winning the AFTA award for ‘Best Business Events Travel Agency’ multiple times.

Paul Healy

Global Head of Information Systems and Security

Paul Healy joined CTM in 2008, firstly as the ANZ IT Manager, later moving to lead Group IT operations, before taking on a Global management role in May 2016. Over this period he has been responsible for ensuring CTM’s global computing, communications and security infrastructure has maintained pace with the company’s rapid growth. Paul is also responsible for coordinating CTM’s global cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, privacy and compliance programs, as well as managing CTM’s Business Intelligence and analytics platforms.
Paul is a highly experienced IT professional with over 15 years of IT management experience across various industries. He has led teams across various IT disciplines including infrastructure management, software development, ERP and support services.
Paul holds a Masters’ degree in Information Technology majoring in Enterprise Systems from QUT, and is certified in both Project Management and Business Analysis. He is an Associate Member of the Australian Computing Society.

Andrea Joseph

Chief People Works Officer

Andrea is an experienced professional with a proven track record in developing successful solutions and delivering outcomes across all aspects of Human Resources.
A highly skilled leader and project manager, Andrea designed and delivered a Leadership Cultural Change initiative at Suncorp before joining CTM in 2012 to lead CTM’s people functions. As Chief People Works Officer, Andrea is responsible for attracting, developing, and retaining talent who deliver great customer service, and valuable innovative solutions for our clients. Andrea’s role also ensures global accountability in delivering CTM’s shared vision of on-demand flexible learning and high performance coaching to ensure continuous personnel development; such as CTM’s High Performance (HiPo) program. In addition to a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in HR and IR, Andrea is also an Accredited Level 2 Executive Coach. Andrea is also responsible, in AU/NZ, for HR, ICT, Health and Safety, and Facilities.

Annabel Ausmus

Global Chief Marketing Officer

Annabel Ausmus is an experienced marketing and communications professional with more than 15 years’ experience managing digital and traditional marketing strategy and implementation in both B2B and B2C disciplines.

Annabel brings a wealth of travel industry marketing experience to CTM, having worked across corporate, leisure (luxury to budget brands), events, wholesale and loyalty travel for privately owned, listed entities and not for profit organizations.

During her time at Corporate Travel Management, Annabel has worked across global growth strategy and entry into the ASX, including a highly successful IPO and the acquisition and rebranding of a number of international companies.

Annabel holds a BA (Hons) degree in Journalism, is a Certified Practicing Marketer (CPM), an Associate Member of the Australian Marketing Institute (AMI), and sits on the AMI Industry Advisory Group.

Scott Ward

Global Head of Partnerships

Scott joined CTM’s Queensland office as the Head of Client Management in 2011 and quickly established himself as someone dedicated to delivering results that were both positive and provided a real impact.
This saw him join the General Manager Succession Plan after his first year with the business and move in to the GM role for Victoria in mid-2013.
In 2017 Scott moved into the role of Global Head of Partnerships. With a focus on technology-based innovation, this position is responsible for aligning efficiencies and optimising partnerships across CTM’s global business.
Before joining CTM, Scott held various roles in the travel industry including the Australian National Sales Manager for one of the largest travel technology companies globally. He has brought this technical knowledge of best-in-market processes to enhance the alignment of solutions offered to CTM’s clients.
With over 15 years’ worth of experience in the travel industry, Scott has an excellent overall understanding of the intricacies of travel and travel management and the most effective ways of applying these to achieve optimal outcomes.

Laura Ruffles

Laura Ruffles is CTM’s Global Chief Operating Officer and, in late 2015, was appointed an Executive Director in recognition of her leadership contribution. She has significant local, regional and global industry experience and, in a career of more than 20 years, has led teams across sales, account management, operations and technology. Laura Ruffles is responsible for all aspects of CTM’s business performance. She joined CTM in 2010 and has been a key contributor to its successful growth. She is also a Director of the Australian Federation of Travel Agents.

Anne Tucker

Global Chief Legal Officer & Company Secretary

Anne Tucker joined CTM in September 2019 as Global Chief Legal Officer & Company Secretary. Anne is an experienced corporate lawyer and company secretary with extensive experience in corporate governance, regulatory engagement and merger and acquisition activity.

Anne has most recently been a consultant providing legal and related advisory services to clients in the gambling and entertainment sector. Anne has also held various legal and compliance roles over a 12 year period with Tatts Group Limited, including the position of General Counsel & Company Secretary, and prior to this worked as a lawyer in both private practice and government roles.

Anne holds both Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws (Hons) qualifications, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance. Anne is a member of the Governance Institute of Australia.

Jamie Pherous

Executive Director, Managing Director

Director since May 2008

Jamie Pherous founded Corporate Travel Management Limited (CTM) in Brisbane in 1994. He has built the Group from its headquarters in Brisbane to become one of the world’s largest travel management companies.

Prior to establishing CTM, Jamie Pherous was employed by Arthur Andersen, now Ernst & Young, as a qualified Chartered Accountant, specialising in business services and financial consulting, notably in Australia, Papua New Guinea and the United Arab Emirates.

 

Ewen Crouch AM

Chairman

Independent Non-Executive Director

Director since March 2019

Ewen Crouch was a Partner at Allens from 1988 – 2013. He served as a member of the firm’s board for 11 years, including four years as Chairman of Partners.  His other roles at Allens included Co-Head Mergers & Acquisitions and Equity Capital Markets from 2004 – 2010, Executive Partner – Asian Offices from 1999 – 2004 and Deputy Managing Partner from 1993 – 1996. He was a director of Mission Australia from 1995, including as Chairman from 2009, until retiring in November 2016.

Mr Crouch is a non-executive director of BlueScope Steel Limited (since March 2013).  He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a member of its Law Committee and a director of Jawun. He served as a member of the Takeovers Panel from 2010-2015, as a member of the Commonwealth Remuneration Tribunal from 2015 – 2019, as a director of Sydney Symphony Orchestra from 2009 – 2020 and as a non-executive director of Westpac Banking Corporation from 2013 to 2019.

Ewen Crouch was appointed as Chairman on 25 March 2019.

 

 

Sophie Mitchell

Independent Non-Executive Director

Director since September 2019

Sophie Mitchell has over 30 years of corporate advisory, capital markets and equity research experience. She retired from Morgans in June 2019 after over a decade as an Executive Director in Morgans Corporate and, prior to this, she was Morgans Head of Research.

Sophie now concentrates on her Board roles and is a Non-Executive Director of ASX-listed Flagship Investments Limited and Chairman of Apollo Tourism & Leisure Limited. She is also a Non-Executive Director of Morgans Holdings (Australia) Limited and the Morgans Foundation Limited, a Board member for the Australia Council for the Arts and Chairman of Australian Super’s Queensland Advisory Council.

She was a Non-Executive Director of Silver Chef Limited (September 2011 – December 2019) and a member of the Australian Government Takeovers Panel between 2009 and 2018.

 

Jon Brett

Independent Non-Executive Director

Director since January 2020

Jon Brett  was formerly an executive director of Investec Wentworth Private Equity Limited, and an executive of Investec Bank (Australia) Limited. He was also the CEO of Techway Limited which pioneered internet banking in Australia.  Jon brings extensive strategic, board and management experience to CTM, particularly in the areas of finance and corporate advisory.

Jon is  currently Executive Chairman of Stridecorp Equity Partners, an AFSL licensed fund manager specialising in private equity, and a non-executive director of Mobilicom Limited. His former directorships include Godfreys Group Limited, The Pas Group Limited and the chairman of Indoor Skydive Australia Group Limited.  Jon was also one of the first non-executive directors at Vocus Group, where he served for over a decade.
